Pilot Connection

Connect to your Air4.media Pilot account for cloud-powered workflows.

Sign In

  1. Click Sign In with Safari in the Pilot section of the Source Panel
  2. Safari opens air4.media/pilot/ftx-auth.php
  3. If you have an active Pilot session, you'll see a confirmation page ("Continue as [name]?")
  4. Confirm — a secure API token is generated and sent back to FotoTrafiX via deep link (fototrafix://auth)
  5. Your token is stored securely in the macOS/iOS Keychain

Browse Remote DAM

Once connected, the Source Panel shows your Pilot DAM catalogs:

  • Sites — Your company's sites with DAM databases
  • Catalogs — Named catalogs within each site
  • Stories — Individual stories/events with their assets

Browse remote assets in Grid, Edit, or Full mode. Remote images load via S3 presigned URLs.

Upload to Cloud

Upload images from your local machine to the Pilot cloud:

  1. Select images locally
  2. Click Upload to Pilot in the toolbar or use the Pilot destination in Export
  3. Choose a company and collection
  4. FotoTrafiX uploads each image with full IPTC metadata to Wasabi S3

Uploaded assets appear in Pilot's Assets Manager with thumbnails, metadata, and searchability.

Multi-Company Support

If you belong to multiple companies in Pilot, you can switch between them. Each company has its own sites, catalogs, and storage.
