Batch Export

Export one image or a thousand — with full control over format, size, and naming.

Export Workflow

  1. Select images in the content panel or use the Selection Tray
  2. Open the Export dialog (File > Export or toolbar button)
  3. Configure format, quality, resize, and watermark settings
  4. Choose a destination folder (or FTP server)
  5. Click Export — FotoTrafiX processes all images in sequence

Format Options

  • JPEG — Quality slider (0-100). Best for delivery and web.
  • PNG — Lossless. Best for graphics and transparency.
  • TIFF — Uncompressed or LZW. Best for print and archival.
  • HEIC — Apple's efficient format. Smaller than JPEG at same quality.
  • WebP — Modern web format. Good balance of quality and size.

Resize Options

FotoTrafiX never enlarges images beyond their original size (scale factor capped at 1.0).

  • Max dimension — Set a max width or height in pixels. Aspect ratio preserved.
  • Percentage — Scale to a percentage of original size.
  • Exact size — Set both width and height. Image fits within bounds (no crop, no stretch).

Watermark

  • Text watermark — Custom text with font, size, color, and opacity. Position: corners or center.
  • Image watermark — Overlay a logo or mark with adjustable opacity and position.

Batch Rename

Rename exported files using tokens:

  • {original} — Original filename (without extension)
  • {date} — Date taken (YYYYMMDD)
  • {seq} — Sequential number (001, 002, ...)
  • {custom} — Custom text you specify

Example: {date}_{custom}_{seq} → 20260315_Wedding_001.jpg

FTP Upload

Built-in FTP destination for wire service delivery. Configure server, port, username, password, and remote directory. Images are uploaded immediately after export processing.
